ARCHET TÊTE-BÊCHE DE COLLECTION

The Tête-Bêche de Collection is a bow like no other, showcasing a unique and highly personalized design. Crafted entirely by hand between 1998 and 2015, these exclusive Tête-Bêche bows were all unique early examples that marked key stages in the development of the model.

Each bow is the result of an intense process of invention and refinement; a one-of-a-kind creation born from the pursuit of technical improvement of the bow and the exploration of new frontiers in design. The metal pieces were carved from a single solid block, in the spirit of sculpture; not built, but revealed.

Representing the most complex, time-intensive, and challenging work of Gilles Nehr, these bows pushed bowmaking beyond its limits; demanding an extraordinary level of precision, creativity, and craftsmanship. They are the most technically demanding bows ever made by hand; and stand as milestones in the evolution of the Tête-Bêche.
